Let the ole dinner bell ring

Challenge: How to reach distant family members during the final week of planning when previous attempts with postcards, emails and a floating banner at the family website had received very little response.

Solution: The coordinator of the family reunion decided to send a CallingPost message to all family members even though they had been previously contacted by traditional methods.

Benefit: Prior to the CallingPost message blast only a handful (10) of family members had indicated they would attend the luncheon prior to the family reunion. Within a couple of days after the message delivery over 90 people responded with their intent of attending the luncheon and/or family reunion.

"Our group of 42 members uses CallingPost each month to remind everyone of the monthly business meeting. CallingPost is really efficient as it previously took someone 2-3 hours to call everyone. Recently at 2:30 PM on the day of our meeting, we were informed that the local restaurant could not accommodate us. I spent the next hour, finding another meeting place and then sent a CallingPost message informing everyone of the change of location. Wow, the ability to make a blanket call to everyone within 5 minutes really helped us out of a jam."
